Parts & Quality Options

Not all replacement parts are the same. I only use trusted suppliers and I’ll always explain the differences so you can choose what makes sense for your device and budget.

Genuine OEM (Apple original)

This is as close as you can get to how your device left the factory. Genuine OEM parts are supplied through Apple’s official repair channels and are designed to match your original screen or back glass for colour, brightness and touch response.

Where supported, features like True Tone and Face ID behave exactly as you’d expect. If you want the “no compromise” option, this is the one to pick.

Best for: Newer iPhones you plan to keep, or when you want the highest possible quality and like-for-like appearance.

Genuine OEM (Android)

OEM parts are built by the same factories that manufacture components for brands like Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo and others. They're designed to match your original screen or back glass for colour, brightness and touch response.

They’re the only choice for most Android phones and tablets: features like Auto Brightness and FingerPrint Scanning behave exactly as you’d expect.

Best for: Most Android phones and tablets where you want original quality.

Pulled Grade A OEM

Pulled OEM parts are genuine original screens or back glass that have been carefully removed from donor devices (for example phones with logic board faults). I only use Grade A units which pass visual and functional checks.

You keep the look and feel of an original part, often at a lower price than brand new OEM. It’s a great way to balance quality and cost.

Best for: Getting true OEM quality for less, especially on slightly older models where brand new OEM pricing can be high.

Premium Aftermarket

Premium aftermarket parts are high-grade third-party components from trusted suppliers. They offer excellent day-to-day performance, with good brightness, colour and touch accuracy, at a more approachable price than genuine OEM.

Most customers who don’t specifically need OEM are very happy with this option — it’s the sweet spot between quality and cost.

Best for: Everyday main phones where you want a quality repair and solid performance without going all the way up to genuine OEM pricing.

Budget Aftermarket

Budget aftermarket parts are the most wallet-friendly option. They’re fully working and tested, but you may notice differences compared to the original display – for example lower brightness, slightly different colours, or a thicker bezel.

For devices that are already well-used, have heavy damage, or are mainly used by kids, this often makes the most sense.

Best for: Older or low-value devices, kids’ phones, backup handsets or when you simply want the lowest cost to get the device going again.
